IFS presents current research results at the AERA

In the past few days, after the corona-related cancellation last year, IFS research results were presented digitally to an international audience of experts at the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). This year, central topics of the AERA included teacher motivation, reading comprehension of elementary school children, and quality characteristics of school-based civic education, which were discussed in various formats. IFS staff presented current research findings, including on teacher motivation, inequalities in educational opportunities and outcomes in international comparison, text comprehension, and first results of the NEPS study on the development of political and social competence (EPKO).
