Practical findings concerning educated and everyday vocabulary

Educated and everyday vocabulary are needed in many situations; thus, school helps to improve and to develop the knowledge. Education should therefore put special emphasis on vocabulary training that takes account of both vocabulary types. The word memory game offers playful access for students in grade three and four. It is based on a test developed at the IFS that measures the competencies of primary-school pupils in educated and everyday vocabulary. Have fun trying the game!
