IFS lecture series on ‘Conceptual and Methodological Advances in Research on Teaching and Learning’ starts.

The IFS cordially invites all TU members to this year's lecture series organised by deputy professor Dr. Alexander Naumann. Within the framework of the topic ‘Conceptual and Methodological Advances in Research on Teaching and Learning’, renowned national and international experts will present their research findings and current projects and discuss them with the plenum. The lecture series places particular emphasis on interdisciplinarity, which is reflected in the diversity of the speakers.

Dr. Alexander Naumann (IFS and DIPF) will open the lecture series on April 17 with a lecture on the topic of ‘Quality of tests in empirical teaching research’. In the following weeks, we will also be welcoming Professor Richard Göllner (University of Potsdam), Professor Julia Dietrich (Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt), Professor Peter Edelsbrunner (LMU Munich), Professor Carolin Hahnel (Ruhr University Bochum), Professor Charalambos Charalambous (University of Cyprus) and Dr Alexander Robitzsch (IPN Kiel) as speakers.

All sessions of the IFS lecture series take place on Thursdays from 14:15 to 15:45 in room 022 in the CDI building. All interested TU Dortmund University members are cordially invited! Further information: Programme of the lecture series
