IFS presents latest research findings at GEBF in Munich
The 13th congress of the Gesellschaft für Empirische Bildungsforschung will be held unter the motto “Eductional Reseach for Technology-Driven Social Developments” and will take place in 2026 at Technical University of Munich. IFS reseachers will present their latest research fingings in a variety of contributions.
On March 16, symposia will present findings on the topics of “The relevance of language-related motivation and the effects of digitally supported language support in first grade” (PD Dr. Annika Ohle-Peters, Svenja Wehrhöfer, Leonie Dargiewicz), “Effectiveness of digitally supported grammar instruction for first graders, taking into account differential effects” (with Svenja Wehrhöfer, Leonie Dargiewicz, Dr. Ulrich Ludewig, PD Dr. Annika Ohle-Peters, Professor Nele McElvany), “School-wide intervention approaches to promote teachers’ professional well-being: A research synthesis” (Gyde Wartenberg (HU Berlin), Josina Schriek (HU Berlin), Jun.-Prof. Justine Stang-Rabrig), and "Teacher well-being and student outcomes: Teaching Quality as a Key Factor" (Dr. Ruben Kleinkorres, Assistant Professor Justine Stang-Rabrig).
On March 17, the series continues with presentations on “Between Knowledge and Perception: The Accuracy of Self-Assessment of Political Knowledge and Its Link to Political Attitudes” (Dr. Pascal Alscher), “Quality of Learning Environments in Secondary Education: Support as a Protective Factor Against School Alienation” (Dr. Alyssa Grecu, Dr. Katharina Molitor, Sira Neuhaus), and “Mathematical Performance of Girls and Boys – On the Relevance of School and Socio-Emotional Factors” (Dr. Katharina Molitor, Dr. Alyssa Grecu).
On March 18, the session titled “Between Common Stereotypes and School-Related Attitudes of Pre-Service Teachers Toward Students of Arab Descent” (Assistant Professor Justine Stang-Rabrig, Professor Meike Bonefeld (University of Freiburg), Dr. Christin Laschke (IPN Kiel), Dr. Anita Tobisch (University of Augsburg)) and a final symposium on the topic “Well-being in the School Context” with the presentation “Longitudinal Development of Satisfaction in Lower Secondary School: A Latent Transition Analysis” (Carina Lohmeier, Dr. Katharina Molitor, Assistant Professor Justine Stang-Rabrig, Professor Nele McElvany) conclude the IFS-contributions.
