Justine Stang-Rabrig starts as assistant professor for “Empirical Educational Research with a Focus on Attitudes, Motivation, and Well-Being.”

We are delighted that Justine Stang-Rabrig took up the junior professorship in “Empirical Educational Research with a Focus on Attitudes, Motivation, and Well-Being” on 1 January 2026. The new working group focuses on both students and teachers as important actors in the educational context. It will examine explanatory factors, developmental trajectories, and the effects of these characteristics, which are central aspects of multidimensional school and career success and are themselves important influencing factors, for example, in coping with school development tasks. The appointment to the junior professorship systematically expands the research profile of the IFS and emphasizes the relevance of these characteristics for school education processes and professional teaching practice.

We look forward to working together and wish you a good start!
