The anthology "Individual Support in All-Day Schools", edited by Stefan Kielblock, Bettina Arnoldt, Nathalie Fischer, Johanna Gaiser, and Heinz Günter Holtappels, presents the research findings of the Study on the Development of All-Day Schools (StEG). All-day schools are considered to have a special potential to use the "extra time" to design appropriate organizational forms and learning arrangements for effective support. However, these possibilities are not yet fully exploited. The StEG project therefore examined alternative concepts, programs, and concrete pedagogical approaches for improving individual support in order to gain insights for better design practice in all-day schools.
