Bernadette van Berk successfully defends her dissertation

Bernadette van Berk, research assistant at the IFS until May 2024, successfully defended her dissertation in psychology at the Department of Educational Sciences and Psychology on July 2, 2025. Her dissertation is titled “Self-regulation during learning among young learners: influencing factors and challenges in assessment”. She is currently a research assistant at the Institute of Educational Psychology at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main in the Educational Psychology working group, focusing on learning and developmental disorders under Professor Charlotte Dignath. We congratulate her warmly on this outstanding achievement!
