Chantal Lepper defends dissertation

The IFS congratulates Chantal Lepper, PhD student in the working group McElvany, on her successfully passed disputation! In accordance with her research interests, which include the areas of motivational characteristics in the teaching-learning context as well as instructional quality in elementary school, she intensively dealt with the topic "Motivationally Supportive Instructional Design in Elementary School - Focus on Instructional Quality and Textual Characteristics" in her dissertation in Educational Science. Her research showed that different factors of the instructional learning environment were significantly linked to meaningful motivational characteristics. The findings offer important links for future research and for motivational support of elementary school children in school practice.
