This week, Dr. Kathrin Hahn-Laudenberg, who has been a substitute professor for Didactics of Social Sciences at the University of Wuppertal since 2018, was a guest at the IFS lecture series. During her lecture titled "The Relevance of School Context and Political Knowledge for the Emergence of Supranational Political Support among Pupils in Europe", she focused on partial results of the International Civic and Citizenship Education Study (ICCS) 2016, with an emphasis on results from European countries and the question to what extent pupils' trust in supranational institutions is related to their trust in national institutions. In addition, she discussed the role of civic education in the acceptance and support of supranational institutions. Thank you very much for the exciting lecture!
