Professor Marcus Pietsch speaks at the IFS Lecture Series

Prof. Dr. Marcus Pietsch (University of Lüneburg) will give a lecture on effective leadership for innovation in schools.

On May 7, the IFS lecture series will feature Professor Marcus Pietsch (Leuphana University of Lüneburg). Professor Pietsch will give a lecture on the topic “Leading Educational Innovation and Change.”

Prof. Dr. Marcus Pietsch is the DFG Heisenberg Professor of Educational Science, specializing in educational management and quality development, at the Institute of Educational Science at Leuphana University. His research focuses particularly on the education system, school effectiveness, development, and innovation, as well as effective leadership in schools.

The lecture will take place on May 7 from 2:15 to 3:45 p.m. in Room 022 of the CDI building in a format. This year, lectures focus on the topic “Paths of School Development”.
