Sebastian Vogel successfully defends his dissertation

Sebastian Vogel has been working as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Center for Research on Education and School Development (IFS) in Professor Nele McElvany's working group since January 2021. On November 20, 2025, the researcher successfully defended his dissertation in psychology. In his dissertation, entitled “Multidimensional School Success in Light of Structural and Process Components of Students' Family and Classroom Environment”, Sebastian Vogel examines the sociodemographic characteristics of families and the composition of school classes, as well as supportive processes in families and classrooms, and considers their connections to various dimensions of school success.
