Young scientists at the IFS – PhD conference on June, 30

At the end of each semester, the IFS organizes the PhD conference, PromoKon for short, in which the doctoral students of the institute can report in small groups on the structural status of their doctoral project and communicate needs or difficulties. Progress, challenges and needs as well as next steps are discussed and individual measures are agreed upon. The effects of Corona were still an issue this time, but plans for publications could be partly adjusted and for some doctoral projects there is hope that surveys can take place as planned after the summer vacations.
