Satisfied, competent teachers who feel comfortable in their profession are essential for effective and successful schools. However, teachers belong to a professional group that experiences increased stress and strain. In addition to the various challenges they encounter in their professional lives, technological developments such as generative AI can provide relief on the one hand, but also bring new demands on the other.

Against this background, various work-related resources and demands that may be related to teachers' well-being are being examined. Furthermore, individual and institutional factors that can explain the use of generative AI in a school context are to be identified. The project also investigates how this relates to the well-being of teachers. The project is aimed at teachers in primary and secondary schools.
