On April 25, Professor Charlotte Rubach presented "New horizons for teacher training" at the IFS lecture series

Junior Professor Charlott Rubach from the University of Rostock gave a lecture entitled "New horizons for teacher training: Digital competence and well-being with SkillfulTeacher2.0" at the IFS lecture series on 25 April. The empirical educational researcher with a focus on teacher research presented exciting insights from her current project SkillfulTeacher2.0, in which, among other things, digital skills and the media usage behaviour of prospective teachers are being investigated. Rubach's research findings point to an interesting correlation, according to which strong digital skills can have a positive effect on personal well-being.

This semester's lecture series focuses on the overarching theme of "Thriving in the digital world: How to foster student skills and well-being" and offers all participants exciting presentations by (inter)national experts.

We want to thank Professor Rubach for her lecture and also thank all those who took part in the ensuing discussion!
