IFS presents research findings at AEPF 2025

From September 22 to 24, 2025, the IFS was represented at the Section Conference on Empirical Educational Research of the Working Group for Empirical Educational Research (AEPF) and the Commission for Educational Planning, Educational Organization, and Educational Law (KBBB) of the German Society for Educational Science (DGfE) at the University of Duisburg-Essen on the topic “Changing Education – Changing Educational Research?” with several contributions.
On September 22, 2025, Alexander Naumann presented his research on the topic “IGEL Interventions Revisited: Effectiveness Testing Using Multidimensional Multilevel IRT Models.” In a poster session on September 23, 2025, Luisa Mörchen presented on the topic “Political knowledge in adolescence: Differences according to migration background and area of knowledge.” In addition, Carina Jüschke chaired a symposium on September 23, 2025, on the role of schools in promoting educational equity. Within this framework, Carina Jüschke discussed the promotion of academic resilience by elementary schools. On the final day, Alyssa Grecu chaired a symposium on determinants of school alienation and highlighted the role of peers and classmates in her contribution.
