Yesterday, this year’s IFS lecture series opened with a presentation by Dr. Katherine Reynolds from Boston College, USA. This year’s lecture series, themed “Paths of School Development,” features renowned national and international guests who will present their research on school development issues at the IFS.
Dr. Reynolds’ opening lecture focused on the insights that can be drawn from the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) and its longitudinal extension (TIMSS-L).
Dr. Katherine Reynolds manages the development of the TIMSS and PIRLS context questionnaires. Her analytic work with context questionnaire data includes evaluation of measurement invariance and exploration of new measurement approaches. She contributes to various publications related to these efforts, including peer-reviewed articles, research briefs, and technical documentation.
We would like to thank Dr. Katherine Reynolds for her inspiring presentation and the valuable discussion!
