Luisa Mörchen wins AEPF poster prize

Luisa Mörchen, doctoral researcher in Professor McElvany's working group at the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS), was awarded the WAXMANN Poster Prize on September 23, 2025, at the conference of the Empirical Educational Research Working Group (AEPF). The award-winning poster, titled “Political Knowledge during Adolescence: Differences Based on Migration Background and Knowledge Area,” addresses key aspects of different types of political knowledge among young people in relation to their different backgrounds. The award ceremony took place during the AEPF, which was held from September 22 to 24, 2025, at the University of Duisburg-Essen on the topic of “Changing Education – Changing Educational Research?”
