Wilfried Bos influenced the Empirical Educational Research and the IFS substantially with his interdisciplinary and international studies as well as his groundbreaking engagement in educational policy. The JERO special issue “Empirical Educational Research – A Standpoint” is devoted to his retirement and was bestowed festively at the GEBF annual meeting. The IFS says thank you and all the best Wilfried!
