SD-AI marks the start of a project on integrating AI in school development, addressing accountability in complex socio-technical systems.

The launch of the SD-AI Research Lab, funded by the College for Social Sciences and Humanties of the University Alliance Ruhr, marks the start of an innovative research project focused on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into school development. The goal is to develop a well-founded theoretical model addressing the role of AI and issues of accountability in complex socio-technical environments, and to evaluate this model through research synthesis, interdisciplinary collaboration, and an experimental study. In cooperation with University of Duisburg-Essen's Dr. Manuela Endberg, the findings will be published in academic publications and  incorporated into practical guidelines designed to help schools use AI responsibly to ensure and further improve educational quality.

We look forward to a successful project launch!
