Since 1 May 2020, a new project has started at the IFS: School integration of newly immigrated children: An environmental multilevel perspective. The project, funded by Mercator Research Center Ruhr (MERCUR), aims to identify determinants of the integration in school of refugee and newly immigrated children. Therefore, the study will conduct surveys with children in grade four. Prof. Nele McElvany, Prof. Philipp Jugert from the University of Duisburg-Essen and Prof. Birgit Leyendecker from the Ruhr-University Bochum collaborate in the project. We’re looking forward to a perceptive project!
