At didacta 2025 in Stuttgart, the IFS took part in an exciting panel discussion on the topic of “LeseKI:DS – Using artificial intelligence to promote the reading skills of primary school pupils”. The event attracted numerous interested parties who are enthusiastic about the use of artificial intelligence in education.
The discussion began with keynote speeches from experts such as Professor Nele McElvany and Professor Andreas Dengel, who shed light on key aspects of the topic. In the interactive panel discussion that followed, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and contribute their perspectives.
There was also a workshop led by Nell Royal from the IFS and Gabriel Großmann from the University of Frankfurt. Teachers were able to test the evidence-based, AI-supported reading promotion program “LeseKI:DS”, which was specially developed for students in fourth grade.
We would like to thank all participants and panelists for their valuable contribution and look forward to future events on innovative approaches in education.
