Reaching families: Successful multilingual campaign to support family reading promotion

A low-threshold, multilingual information campaign to promote reading at home successfully reaches parents of primary school children – even at schools in socially challenging locations, as a recent study by the Center for Research on Education and School Development at TU Dortmund University shows. This is particularly important as the data from IGLU 2021 shows that actively supporting parents in promoting reading can reduce educational disparities.
