Dr. Alexander Robitzsch speaks on “Group comparisons in educational comparison studies” as part of the IFS lecture series.

On July 17, 2025, the IFS will welcome Dr. Alexander Robitzsch to the final session of the lecture series “Conceptual and Methodological Advances in Research on Teaching and Learning.” The researcher will speak on the topic of “Group comparisons in educational comparison studies: linking procedures and linking errors” and present his research findings.

Dr. Alexander Robitzsch conducts research at the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) in Kiel on topics including methodology in large-scale assessments, item response modeling, linking methods and linking errors, regularization techniques, missing data, multiple imputation, structural equation modeling, multilevel analyses, and statistical software.

The event will take place from 2:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. in room 022 of the CDI building. We cordially invite you to attend the last lecture series of the summer semester and look forward to welcoming Dr. Alexander Robitzsch from IPN Kiel to the IFS!
