IFS-Lecture series with Professor Peter Edelsbrunner

Professor Peter Edelsbrunner will speak at the IFS-Lecture series on the topic of “Modeling of Content Knowledge”.

On May 22, 2025, the Center for Research on Education and School Development (IFS) will welcome Professor Peter Edelsbrunner as part of the lecture series “Conceptual and Methodological Advances in Research on Teaching and Learning” during this year's summer semester.

Mr. Edelsbrunner is a professor at Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) in Munich and will give a lecture at IFS on the topic “Modeling of Content Knowledge”. His research focuses on methods of empirical educational research as well as applied research approaches. Among other things, he deals with questions of applied statistics, development and pedagogical support, and the statistical modeling of scientific thinking over the course of life.

The lecture will take place from 2:15 PM to 3:45 PM in the CDI building, room 022. We warmly invite you to attend the event and look forward to welcoming Professor Peter Edelsbrunner from LMU to IFS!
