The IFS warmly welcomes Dr. Alexander Naumann as a substitute professor for the professorship Educational Data Science during the maternity leave and parental leave of Professor Hanna Gaspard. His research interests lie at the intersection of school and classroom research as well as methods of empirical educational research with a particular focus on capturing and modeling instructional effectiveness. Currently, his research focuses on the purposeful construction of instructionally sensitive test items as well as the dimensionality of grade-level performance measures. He is also investigating characteristics that constitute quality instruction, particularly teachers' diagnostic skills and the management of heterogeneity. We look forward to the exchange and collaboration!
