There has been much discussion about schools and teaching since the Corona pandemic. In an interview with Focus Online, Nele McElvany, executive director of the IFS, emphasizes that some things have improved, however. For example, initial results of a recent IFS study showed that teachers are working more intensively with digital materials, and that there are now more offerings such as virtual meetings for learning, learning platforms for teaching, and learning apps. There is now a need for intensive discussion about which materials and methods should be retained in order to combine the advantages of face-to-face teaching and learning from digital learning in the future.
