IADS and IFS present new study: Focus on the implementation and impact of Erasmus+ in the school context.

Although Erasmus+ is considered a central instrument of European education policy, its impact in the school context has hardly been researched to date. A recent study by TU Dortmund University addresses this research gap by taking a comprehensive look at the implementation and impact of Erasmus+ in general education schools for the first time. Entitled “Learning Mobility in Europe: A Mixed-Methods Study on Erasmus+ in Schools”, the study examines the effects of participation in Erasmus+ learning mobility on schools, teachers, and students. The study is based on an innovative research design with three sub-studies that combine quantitative and qualitative approaches.

The study was conducted from 2022 to 2024 at TU Dortmund University on behalf of the Pedagogical Exchange Service (PAD) of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (KMK) and was co-financed by EU funds.
