IFS Lecture Series on May 16 with Professor Frederick de Moll

On May 16, we had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Frederick de Moll from Bielefeld University for our fifth session of the IFS lecture series this summer semester. The Professor gave a lecture on “Non-cognitive dispositions in childhood and adolescence from an inequality theory perspective". He presented a fascinating overview of the current research on educational inequality, particularly highlighting the role of non-cognitive dispositions such as well-being and motivation, inequality theory approaches, and his own research findings.
This semester's IFS lecture series revolves around the overarching theme “Thriving in the digital world: How to foster student skills and well-being”, offering participants engaging talks by (inter)national experts.
