"Arriving in schools - opportunities and challenges in the integration of children and young people with refugee experience" - this was the topic on September 29, 2016, when participants from educational practice, administration, politics and educational research came together to discuss ways of successfully integrating children and young people with refugee experience. In addition to the panel discussion with minister Sylvia Löhrmann, keynote speeches from academia and practice were discussed by the interdisciplinary audience on three key topics. The participants particularly emphasized the variety of topics and the successful change of perspective between science and practice as positive impressions.
