Justine Stang-Rabrig accepted into the Young Academy with her "FOCUS" project

With the successful acquisition of the "FOCUS" project, Justine Stang-Rabrig, postdoc in the McElvany WG, was accepted as a member of the TU Dortmund University Young Academy on January 22, 2024. The main aim of the "FOCUS" project is to investigate the multifaceted effects of stereotype threat on vocabulary, motivation, emotion and well-being in students. The Young Academy supports doctoral researchers in the qualification phase in building up a research profile with strong third-party funding. The TU Dortmund Young Academy offers its members a wide range of support options, including an exclusive program of events. Membership of the Young Academy is achieved either by successfully acquiring internal project funding or by being awarded the Young Academy Research Prize. Members have access to this exclusive offer for a period of up to six years.
