On May 12, the IFS Lecture Series "What's new in Educational Research? Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Research Projects in Empirical Educational Research" will focus on reading literacy in international large scale assessments. Kaisa Leino, PhD and senior researcher at the University of Jyväskylä, is invited to present her work. She is, among other things, the national research coordinator for the two large scale assessments PISA and ICILS in Finland. Following on from this, Dr. Ulrich Ludewig will present the International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS), which regularly examines students' reading skills at the end of primary school. We look forward to a lively participation and discussion!
Students and employees of TU Dortmund University are cordially invited to the lecture, which starts in room 022 in the CDI building at 2:15 pm.
