Tuesdays for Education: Fourth Event Series Starts in October

Under the title “Educational Research on Current Challenges in Schools: AI, Well-being, Civic Education and Motivation”, the event series will return for its fourth round in October.

The focus is on pressing issues shaping the future of everyday school life: from the targeted use of generative AI to support reading skills, and the well-being of teachers and students, to innovative approaches in civic education and motivation. The format is aimed at multipliers from educational practice, administration, politics and the media.

• 06 October 2026: How can we use generative AI to support reading skills?
• 26 January 2027: Well-being at school – How are teachers and students doing, and what connections can be identified?
• 13 April 2027: Civic education – How can motivation to learn about politics and get involved be fostered?
• 29 June 2027: Fostering motivation and career aspirations in physics
• 09 November 2027: Teachers’ use of AI – Which work-related challenges and resources influence the use of AI in everyday school life?

Each event consists of a free, interactive webinar (3:30–4:30 p.m. via Zoom), followed by a brief report and a press release. The series offers evidence-based insights from current research as a starting point for dialogue and the further development of the school system.
