On October 1, the project "Shaping SPeCial education together with elementary schools, families and pedagogical specialists: What works?", or SPEAK for short, was launched. It is funded by the BMBF from 01.10.2022 – 30.09.2026. In the coming years, the project team will investigate the effectiveness of targeted, scientifically based language support measures during the first school year. The project is designed to enable better educational and participation opportunities through comprehensive language support that can be integrated into everyday life by interlinking different learning venues – classroom, all-day educational program, family. Close cooperation with practitioners, including teachers, other pedagogical staff and families, is planned. The goal is the development, evaluation and distribution of digitally supported language support at the beginning of primary school.

We are looking forward to the forward-looking work in the project!
