In the IFS Lecture Series "Orientation to the average was yesterday: What empirical educational research has to say about teaching children with heterogeneous learning conditions" on April 27, Elmar Souvignier, professor at the Institute for Psychology in Education at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, was a guest. In his lecture "Appropriate reading support for every child: principles, programs - practice" he reported on how adaptive support in reading can be implemented in elementary school and presented research findings and programs for support diagnostics. In addition to adaptive reading support, the implementation of reading support programs and acceptance by teachers was a topic of his presentation. The content of the presentation and implications for research and practice were discussed in the plenary session.
